TERMS OF USE

General

These terms and conditions apply to the Nordic Wear online store, which is owned and operated by Nordic Wear Int’l Oy, Orikedonkatu 22B 20380 Turku.

Customer service

Nordic Wear Int’l Oy online store / wholesale is intended only for companies, resellers, communities, and importers. Customership require that you comply with the terms and conditions of the e-commerce agreement and fulfill their obligations, and that you provide the requested information in full and truthfully. We do not sell individual pieces, only packages. Representatives of a company or association who have reached the age of 18 and companies entered in the trade register can make purchases in the Nordic Wear Int’l Oy (hereinafter Nordic Wear) online store. Nordic Wear reserves the right to accept or reject customers.

Accepting and amending the terms of the contract

By using the Nordic Wear online store, you accept these terms and conditions and undertake to comply with them. Nordic Wear Int’l Oy has the right to change these terms and conditions by publishing the changed terms and conditions on the website. Please read the current terms and conditions of the agreement before sending the order.

Functionality

Nordic Wear does not guarantee the uninterrupted or error-free operation of the online store. There may be interruptions in the online store. Nordic Wear shall not be liable for any damages or losses related to the use of the online store, subject to the mandatory legislation in force at the time.

Ordering

Follow the instructions on the website to order the product. Please read the terms of use carefully before ordering. Please note the delivery time and minimum order quantities specified for each order. Deliverytimes for each products can be several months and minimum order quantities are hundreds of pieces. Each order is processed separately and you will be contacted personally. The whole thing you want may not be possible, but even in this case you will be contacted. The company and entity code of the company or institution must always be stated when ordering. After ordering the product, you will receive an order confirmation to the e-mail address provided. The order confirmation states e.g. product price, delivery fee, availability and estimated delivery time. Please check the order confirmation carefully and make sure that the information in it is correct. If there is an error in the order confirmation, you want to cancel the order before the delivery of the product or otherwise change the order, please contact our customer service immediately by calling +358 44 978 4206 or by e-mail to info@nordicwear.fi.

The right not to deliver the ordered product

Nordic Wear Int’l reserves the right to unilaterally cancel or limit the number of products to be delivered without any obligation to compensate or reimburse if the product is not available or the demand for the product exceeds the number of available products; or due to a clerical or calculation error, there is a material and obvious error in the price information or other information of the product advertised for sale on the website and which the customer should have understood when placing the order. Nordic Wear has the right to refuse an order if the customer’s credit information contains a default note or if the customer has not previously paid for the products ordered.

Terms of payment (Stock products)

Payment will be made on the basis of the invoice 14 days from the date of the invoice. If you are a new customer and choose a delivery address other than your home address, Nordic Wear may require you to pay for the product when ordering. The terms of the identified products will be agreed separately at the time of concluding the contract.

Quickly available stock products can be paid for immediately in the online store via Paypal.

We charge 5 euros for the payment note. The buyer must be 18 years of age or older. You may be able to make a batch payment arrangement by contacting customer service.

If payments are not paid and we have not been contacted about processing the payment, we will transfer the receivables to be collected in accordance with the terms of the Consumer Protection Act. For more information on terms and service, contact our customer service.

Handling and delivery costs

Delivery costs in e-commerce orders for stock items min. 7 euros (VAT 0%), but the order amount affects the price. However, you will be notified of this by email at the latest before sending your order.

Right of withdrawal and exchange, procedure and time limits for stock products

If you cancel the transaction or indicate that you will exchange the product, you must return the product you received without delay and no later than 14 days after the cancellation / exchange notice. Please note that the right of return and exchange does not apply to individual products, custom-made, embroidered and / or printed garments made to the customer’s order. You are responsible for the return costs yourself if you cancel the transaction or want to change the product.

Cancellation and exchange acceptance is conditional on the product being unused and being returned in its original packaging with all Original Packaging materials. If the consumer customer has received the product, he must keep it substantially unchanged and unreduced until the time of return. However, if the consumer customer cancels the contract after the goods have been put into service, he must be liable for the reduction in value.

Pack the product to be exchanged / returned well. If the returned product is defective or incorrectly delivered, you will receive from our customer service the Post’s customer return number, which must be clearly written on the returned package. In this case, there will be no cost to you for the return. If you are exchanging the product for another size, color or model, you will bear the cost of returning it.

Make a note of the return shipment ID number and keep it until the return is processed. The number is required in case of possible complaints. We cannot receive refunds by cash on delivery or unpaid postage. Return the product as instructed.

A refund invoice will be issued and sent as soon as we have received the product back and processed the return. However, if you have paid the invoice, we will refund the money paid to your account within 14 days of receiving the cancellation / exchange notice at the earliest when Nordic Wear has received the product back or you have shown that you have returned the product.

Transport risk (hazard liability)

When a product is shipped from us, we are responsible for the transportation risk. Upon receipt of the product, you have seven (7) days to report any damage to the product during shipment. If the notification has not been made within the relevant time limit, the notification of transport damage will not be accepted. By way of derogation from the above, the consumer customer shall report the transport damage within a reasonable time after its discovery, always within two months of the consumer customer discovering the defect. In the case of a return based on cancellation or exchange, the transport risk is the responsibility of the customer who made the return. The transport risk for the identified products can be agreed separately.

Liability for errors

For identified products, liability for defects is agreed with the customer separately. If there is a defect in the product, please contact our customer service by calling +358 44 978 4206 or by e-mail at info@nordicwear.fi. At the same time, you will receive Posti’s customer return number, which must be clearly written on the returned package. After detecting an error, the complained product will be returned unused or washed to Nordic Wear. If the garment is unwashed, we will charge the cost of washing it. Describe the error accurately on the customer return form and preferably mark it with something, such as tape.

Note! In connection with product complaints, send a copy of the invoice / shipping list with the product, so we can process the matter quickly. Products that are the subject of a complaint must be returned as soon as possible after the defect is detected.

Nordic Wear’s liability for errors in consumer transactions is determined by the Consumer Protection Act. However, in non-consumer transactions, Nordic Wear’s liability for errors is determined by the Commercial Act so that Nordic Wear is not liable for consequential damages. Nordic Wear is not liable for a defect if the defect or breakage of the product is caused by an accident, improper handling of the product or any other factor for which the customer is responsible. If a product defect is caused by the above-mentioned circumstance or the reported defect is not detected in the product at all, Nordic Wear has the right to charge the customer for the return costs.

The customer must notify Nordic Wear of any defect in the product within a reasonable time of discovering the defect. However, an error report can always be made within two months of the customer discovering the error. A dispute concerning a consumer trade complaint may be referred to the General Consumer Disputes Board. Nordic Wear follows the board’s recommendations.

Quality

Nordic Wear is constantly developing its products, which is why sometimes the product ordered does not exactly match the product you see in the list. However, the product you received is equivalent or better. If you still want to return the product, you will of course get back both the money you paid for the product and the return postage. When printing the catalog, the colors shown in the illustrations may sometimes differ slightly from the actual colors of the products. Identified products are non-refundable.

Delivery (stock items)

The product you have ordered will normally be delivered to you within a week or so of your order. You will receive information about the delivery time with the order confirmation if you have provided us with your e-mail address. Of course, if a product is significantly delayed, you can cancel its order.

Deliveries from Nordic Wear are handled through Suomen Posti or DHL. Therefore, we must always know the street address so that the Transport Company in use at the time can deliver the products. The street address must always be given in full, for example Orikedonkatu 22 B, 20380 Turku. We are unable to send a package addressed to your business to your PO Box.

Customer number

When you shop with us, you will automatically receive a customer number. It is marked on the invoice and the order confirmation. When you always use a customer number when dealing with us, you help us to serve you even better.

Information

Notify us immediately of any errors and changes in your name and address information. Also, make sure that the billing address, shipping address, and any reference code you provided are correct.

Personal information / privacy

Nordic Wear is responsible for processing the personal information you provide to us as a customer. You can request the correction or deletion of personal data by writing to info@nordicwear.fi. In addition, as a customer, you also have the right to receive all information about the personal data used from Nordic Wear once a year free of charge. A complete Registry Statement in accordance with the Personal Data Act on the use of your information and its collection can be read in the Registry Statement.

Intellectual property rights

The online store and its content are the property of Nordic Wear protected by copyright and other intellectual property, the unauthorized use or copying of which is prohibited.

Force majeure

Nordic Wear shall not be liable for any damages or delays resulting from an obstacle beyond its control which it could not reasonably have foreseen or the consequences of which it could not have avoided. Force majeure includes e.g. war, insurrection, industrial action, illness of personnel, import and export bans, disruption of public communications, power outages and disruption of mail or road traffic. If the force majeure persists for more than a month, both Nordic Wear and the customer have the right to cancel the transaction without penalty or delay.
