COOKIE POLICY

When you visit the Nordic Wear online service, your device receives one or more cookies, which are sent from our online service to your browser.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

A cookie is a small text file that a browser stores on a user’s device. Cookies do not harm your files or your device. Cookies are divided into persistent cookies and session-specific cookies. Persistent cookies are retained on your device for the period of time specified in the cookie, after which the cookies are deleted, either automatically or when you delete the cookies from your browser. Session cookies are retained on your device only for the time spent on our online services and are deleted when you close your browser.

WHY AND WHAT DO WE USE COOKIES?

We use cookies to improve the experience of using our online service, to monitor the use of our online service, and to develop our services. Cookies allow us, among other things, to remember the language settings you have selected on our online service, so that you do not have to select the language settings again when you visit our online service. The information we collect through cookies includes the IP address, browser and device type, and country of browsing. However, we do not use cookie information to identify you, nor do we associate cookie information with any personal information collected in any other context.

HOW CAN I PREVENT OR DELETE COOKIES?

Most browsers accept cookies by default. However, you can block and delete cookies in the settings of your browser or the device you are using. If you block or delete the use of cookies, the usability of our website may be reduced, and our website will no longer remember your language settings, for example. Deleting cookies from your browser history resets cookies, but does not stop using cookies completely. Alternatively, you can use the private browsing mode (“ingocnito or private browsing”) when browsing web pages.

COOKIES USED AND INFORMATION COLLECTED BY THIRD PARTIES

In addition to our cookies, which are part of our online services, we use third-party cookies. Third-party cookies belong to third parties, such as web analytics service providers. Among other things, we use Google Analytics cookies to target advertising and to collect measurement and analysis data from our online services. The cookie information collected by third parties allows third parties to identify the user. Third party services are subject to their own cookie and privacy policies, and Nordic Wear is therefore not responsible for the collection and processing of third party data. In addition, we enable the use of social media plug-ins in our online service, in which case you can, for example, visit our social media pages and take advantage of the share buttons on our online service. These services are subject to the terms of use of the social media service provider. Here you will find the terms of use of Google, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube, among others.

CHANGES

Nordic Wear reserves the right to change the cookie policy if, for example, the cookie policy requires an update due to a change in legislation.
