Nordic Wear’s online store customer register

PURPOSE OF THE REGISTER

Nordic Wear takes care of your data protection whenever you use Nordic Wear’s services. We protect the privacy of users of our site in accordance with the EU Directive on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (the Data Protection Directive). In addition, we comply with local laws in the Member States and other applicable laws. The main purpose of collecting personal data is to act as a customer register for Nordic Wear’s online store. Information about purchase transactions and the use of Nordic Wear’s services is stored in Nordic Wear’s customer register. Purchasing, transactional and usage data is used to manage customer relationships and ensure the best user experience, such as customer number identification, product delivery and contact when product delivery times change, sales and marketing, answering questions and sending customer bulletins, customer relationship management and customer service analysis and statistics. Personal information will be treated confidentially and will not be disclosed to third parties.

CONTENTS

Basic information about the customer is stored, such as name, contact information (delivery and billing addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses), language, information about the data subject’s profession or position in the work community. Customer-related information, such as usernames and passwords for the registrar’s electronic services, information on purchases made as an identified customer, customer-related communications, communications and actions such as complaints and follow-up, feedback on warranties and billing information.

PROTECTION

The information is protected by generally accepted technical means in the information security industry. Non-electronic materials containing personal data in the register shall be located in premises to which unauthorized access has been denied. Only selected employees of the companies have access to personal data with the right of access granted by the controller.

RIGHT OF INSPECTION AND REPAIR

The data subject has the right under the Personal Data Act to check what information about him or her has been stored in the register. The request for verification must be in writing and signed or, alternatively, may be made in person with the controller.
